Ascending dragon-like stroke with heavy splatter and vertical energy. The ink rises against gravity, defying the pull of despair that characterized the Vietnam period. Painted during PH4 nomadic fieldwork, the work abandons geometric precision for atmospheric pressure, humidity, and somatic release. A moment of lift within the storm. The body that made this was not thinking. It was throwing.
